Russian military personnel on the front lines have begun to modernize equipment with protection against Western-made magnetic mines. They have devised a special trawl and anti-mine bumper that help mitigate damage from the explosion of ammunition.
Modernization of equipment has recently become particularly popular in the troops. In the workshops, combat vehicles are being fitted with anti-cumulative protection, armor is being reinforced, and "barbecues" are being welded on.
The military reminded that the success of soldiers on the front lines depends on the speed and quality of work of the repair units. Therefore, equipment does not stay in repair battalions for long and is sent to the front immediately after restoration.
Earlier, Military Watch Magazine admired the Russian tank "barbecue" - protection against drones and ATGMs. Military analysts noted its effectiveness while maintaining the operability of military equipment.
