NtechLab has signed a cooperation agreement with the Saudi taxi booking service EGO at the Gitex Africa technology exhibition. According to the document, a Russian-made face recognition method will be used in Saudi Arabia. This was announced by Alexey Palamarchuk, CEO of NtechLab.
AI algorithms will be used for face recognition. In order to prove to the system that the person behind the wheel is indeed the taxi driver whose driver's license has been uploaded to the system, the driver will need to make a one-second video, which will be analyzed by the system.
Artificial intelligence algorithms are able to distinguish the real account owner from a fraudster and even from a silicone mask with his face.
EGO said that they will use the system to improve passenger safety not only in Saudi Arabia, but also in Egypt and Morocco.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Arab partners are interested in the Su-75 Checkmate aircraft.
