Носитель «Калибров» уходит с Балтики: подлодка «Можайск» проекта 636.3 совершит переход на Тихоокеанский флот

The "Black Hole" will transfer to the Pacific Fleet in 2024 after the Main Naval Parade on July 28.

The submarine "Mozhaisk", built at the "Admiralty Shipyards" USC under Project 636.3, will make an inter-fleet transfer from the Baltic to the Pacific Fleet after the Main Naval Parade (MNP), which in 2024 is scheduled to be held on July 28. This was reported by TASS.

The inter-fleet transfer of "Mozhaisk" is scheduled immediately after the MNP.

It is known that as of mid-March 2024, the predecessor of "Mozhaisk", the submarine "Ufa", was performing combat service tasks in the Mediterranean Sea as part of the inter-fleet transfer to the Pacific Fleet.

"Mozhaisk" is the fifth submarine in Project 636.3, it was launched in August 2023. In total, there will be six such boats in the series. Recently, "Mozhaisk" performed a deep-sea dive in the Baltic as part of working out part of the program for preparing the ship to perform tasks as intended.

There are two options for further development. According to the first, "Ufa will wait for "Mozhaisk", they will proceed together along the "southern" route to the Pacific Fleet. According to the second, "Mozhaisk" will take over the watch from "Ufa" in the Mediterranean Sea for some time.

The Project 636.3 submarines built for the Black Sea Fleet are carriers of "Caliber-PL" cruise missiles. They have become an important link in Russia's defense strategy, successfully being used in real combat operations.
