Three popular kicksharing services have both increased fines for their clients for violations and introduced new fines with the beginning of summer. Whoosh, Yurent, and Yandex not only debit money from customers' bank cards for non-compliance with traffic rules and other risky behavior, but can also block the account. This is done for serious violations.

The new fines from the three largest electric scooter rental companies now look like this:
- for riding with a passenger on one scooter — 5 thousand rubles;
- for not dismounting at a pedestrian crossing — 1 thousand rubles;
- for transferring control of an electric scooter to a child — 10 thousand rubles and account blocking;
- for improper parking (across the sidewalk or outside the parking area) — 500 rubles;
- for driving a scooter while intoxicated, which is confirmed by traffic police materials — from 100 to 150 thousand rubles, depending on the operator;
- for causing harm to the health or property of third parties as a result of an accident or incident due to the user's fault, which is confirmed by traffic police materials — from 100 to 150 thousand rubles, depending on the operator and account blocking.
It is known that since the end of March, in Moscow alone, according to the Moscow Department of Transportation, electric scooter renters received data recorded by the State Traffic Inspectorate and the Traffic Management Center using video surveillance cameras on thousands of cases of offenses. Companies were sent 50 thousand fines for traffic violations, and 52 thousand accounts were blocked.
