New Torero MP30 winter tires appeared in Russia

These studded tires will replace the Matador MP 30 Sibir Ice 2, the only difference is the name

The domestic line of Torero tires has been supplemented with a new model. Torero studded tires MP30 replaced the Matador MP 30 Sibir Ice 2 from 2016 release. However, the tires differ from each other only in name. Car owners will have access to wheels with a diameter of 14 to 17 inches.

Torero tires are produced at the Gislaved plant, owned by the Russian Holding S8 Capital. Previously, three tire models were presented for crossovers and SUVs: MP-47 (for general roads use), MP82 (Highway Terrain, for asphalt and light off-road), MP72 (All Terrain, for dirt and gravel roads and light off-road).

The change of tire name from Matador to Torero is probably related to the decision of Continental, which previously owned the Kaluga tire plant. The foreign company did not want tires to be produced in Kaluga under the Matador name.
