Russian AI Will Start Making Voice Remarks to Scooter Riders and Smokers

NtechLab's Smart Video System Has Learned to "Speak"

NtechLab's smart video system with facial recognition, which has been operating in the Moscow region and other regions of the country for more than two years, has learned to speak. Now it will make remarks to those who do not comply with city rules: speeding on a scooter, smoking in the wrong place, and so on. The service is planned to be launched in pilot mode in Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Crimea, Sevastopol, Murmansk, Arkhangelsk, and on the territory of the Sirius educational center.

The smart system has several tones: welcoming, official, warning, or prescriptive. It will not only say what a person is doing wrong, but also indicate how to correct themselves and do the right thing.

However, the creators note that the service is not only for people to behave culturally and comply with laws in the urban environment. It can be used, for example, to inform park visitors that it will rain soon or that a storm with dangerous winds is coming.

It can also be used in large enterprises. For example, to signal that an employee of the enterprise has not put on PPE, a helmet, or has simply entered a dangerous zone.

A similar idea for enterprises has already been proposed, however, by the manufacturers of Atom 4.0 smart helmets. They help to identify whether an employee complies with safety regulations and work schedules, and in case of emergency, they facilitate the work of rescuers.
