A new tool for the development of unmanned technology will appear in Russia. The remotely controlled air-lifting platform "T4 PS" with vertical take-off and landing has been patented, images of which have appeared in the FIPS database.
Detailed technical characteristics of the invention are not specified, only its appearance is available. However, the Telegram channel "Беспилот" dug into the annals of FIPS and found that the author of the invention had already received a patent for a remotely controlled platform in 2023. The industrial design patent contained some data related to the operation of the platform.
Thus, it is noted that the platform has:
- a coaxial rotor scheme and a frame-type fuselage with a skid landing gear at the bottom and a supporting system at the top;
- a hybrid power plant, a navigation system, a fuel tank and a battery inside the frame-type fuselage;
- engines integrated into the hubs of the main rotors. This eliminates the need for a transmission in the drive of the main rotors, and the efficiency of this system is higher than that of other similar coaxial aircraft and multicopters.
The inventor notes that his utility model "relates to the field of aircraft construction, namely to unmanned rotorcraft", and "can be used in various industries, including for solving state supervision tasks".
