The Ninth Design Bureau of Unmanned Aviation and Flyseeagro have tested a mobile semi-automatic communication system for UAVs. The developers claim that it is designed to improve the range and quality of flight of drones used for agricultural purposes. They fly at low altitude.
The communication complex is equipped with a 4G signal amplifier, a weather station, and two collinear antennas operating in two ranges. During the tests, it was mounted on the roof of an SUV.
Note that the use of drones in the agro-industrial complex is designed to reduce costs in the process of monitoring the condition of fields and their processing. The fact is that when using a drone, 30% to 50% of the volume of chemicals is saved, in addition, drones can process fields at night. However, the closed sky in most Russian regions prevents the full use of agricultural drones.
It is worth recalling that by 2030, Aeromax plans to train 10,000 qualified drone operators for the market, including for the agro-industrial complex.
