Russian automakers have been included in another US sanctions list: Bryansk Automobile Plant, which is part of the Almaz Antey group, Yaroslavl Motor Plant (YaMZ) and Remdiesel. The reason for inclusion in the list was the work of enterprises in the sector of the economy supporting the military-industrial complex.
Note that this is not the first time that the Bryansk Automobile Plant and Ural have been included in the sanctions list. Thus, in May 2023, these enterprises became subject to sanctions from the US Department of Industry and Trade, and even earlier Ural fell under EU sanctions.
Recall that Remdiesel was founded by KamAZ in 1978. It was engaged in the repair of diesel engines for trucks. Since 2015, the company has been owned by Specialized Service Company LLC.
Recall that the United States has expanded sanctions against Russian companies, including the Pobeda airline, and earlier www1.ru wrote that sanctions affect Russian automotive enterprises.
