The construction of a modern data processing center has been completed in Siberia. The Novosibirsk data center has become the largest commercial project outside of Moscow and St. Petersburg. The project was implemented by the Key Point group of companies.
Construction began on April 11, 2023. After 10 months, the data center began operations.
The project was implemented with the support of the Development Corporation and the regional leadership. Building the facility in such a short time was made possible thanks to the coordinated work of a team of experienced engineers and the use of prefabricated solutions – individual units that are manufactured in the factory and reduce the number of operations on the construction site. The data center will be served by 45 highly qualified specialists, all of whom are local residents. Thanks to the implementation of the project, the region received not only advanced infrastructure, but also new jobs.
The creation of the data center required 2.92 billion rubles of commercial investment, with funds being developed in two phases. To date, 1.8 billion rubles have already been invested in the project.
Regional companies and large telecommunications operators have already begun to use the services of the data processing center.
It was previously noted that a new "Basis" software and hardware complex for high-performance computing and cloud services was presented in Russia.
