The Russian space cargo ship «Progress MS-27», after an anechoic chamber-simulator of outer space, was sent to Baikonur for pneumatic vacuum tests.
As explained in «Roscosmos», the ship was placed in a vacuum chamber to control the tightness of the compartments and pneumatic-hydraulic lines during the flight. A helium-air environment is used in the tested volumes during pneumatic vacuum tests.
The launch of the «Soyuz-2.1a» carrier rocket with «Progress MS-27» is scheduled for May 2024.
