Angara A-5 is the first Russian heavy rocket to fly from Vostochny. It weighs 761 tons, the Orion booster block weighs 22.1 tons, and the payload that can be put into near-Earth orbit thanks to this rocket is 24-24.5 tons.

The maximum payload capacity of the rocket is 37.5 tons, but it is unclear what test payload the Angara A-5 will put into space now. The launch into orbit will take place as follows.

The launch of Angara-A5 was scheduled for 12:00 Moscow time on April 9. Two minutes before the launch, an abort command was issued. Later, the Roscosmos management explained that the automation system had triggered a failure in the pressurization system of the oxidizer tank of the central block of the launch vehicle, and the launch was postponed to a backup date. Exactly one day later.
