An unusual GAZ-3111 Volga is being sold in Budapest. The 2004 car has a 2.5-liter ZMZ-405 engine under the hood, with a power of 145 hp. The gearbox is a five-speed manual.
This Volga was assembled not at GAZ, but at some friendly enterprise, because by 2004 the Russian plant had abandoned the production of this model.
Judging by the photos, the Volga is well preserved, although some body elements are damaged. The seller is asking 5 million forints (1.3 million rubles) for the Volga.
The owner claims that the car belonged to Horst Roland Jesche, who was a GAZ dealer in Germany in the early 2000s. Then the top manager bought it for 15,000 euros.
Let us remind you that GAZ-3111 is the so-called experimental Volga. It was produced at GAZ from 1998 to 2002. A total of 424 cars were produced.
The development of the "eleventh" took 130 million dollars, but there was no demand for it in Russia. As a result, the model had to be discontinued.
