Россия откажется от импортных полимерных диэлектриков для космоса и телекоммуникаций

The holding company "Ruselectronics" was the first to master their domestic production

The holding company "Ruselectronics" of the Rostec State Corporation has mastered a new technology for the production of polymer dielectrics, which has no domestic analogues.

Such dielectrics are used in electronic units to isolate microcircuits from external influences in space, radar, telecommunications equipment, and in microwave electronics. This will allow Russia to strengthen its technological sovereignty and abandon foreign supplies of polymer dielectrics.

The material created by Ruselectronics based on benzocyclobutene has successfully passed laboratory tests. The results achieved even exceeded the targets. The availability of such a domestically produced material will make it possible to abandon the purchase of foreign analogues, such as Cyclotene 3000 series.

Domestic dielectrics have thermal stability up to 450 degrees Celsius and are resistant to chemical influences and moisture, which will extend the service life of products. They will be used in the assembly of multilayer electronic modules, complex electronic units, and in the creation of electronic components for various purposes.

The development and organization of serial production of polymer dielectrics is carried out by the "Tekhnomash" Research Institute, a subsidiary of Ruselectronics. Prior to this, at the end of 2022, "Tekhnomash", together with Tekhnotech LLC and RTU MIREA, had already developed a line of dielectrics that are used during the production of Russian printed circuit boards — also based on benzocyclobutene. This joint material became the first Russian dielectric for modern electronic devices, the insulation characteristics of which are 10-15% higher than foreign analogues.
