The Resurs-P No. 4 satellite, which is preparing for launch, is notable for being the penultimate in its series. In 2025, instead of "Resurs-P", their more advanced versions will begin to be launched into space: the "Resurs-PM" satellites.

"Resurs-PM" received a number of new options - for example, the ability to detect launches and flights of rockets, work as a telescope and receive higher resolution images.
