The new flagship domestic tablet KVADRA_T from Yadro has been tested in a special MegaFon laboratory and has proven that it can work in all communication networks and meets all standards. It has successfully passed six stages of testing and two verification sessions.
MegaFon's Equipment Research and Testing Center diagnoses equipment on a test mobile network using all currently available technologies, including VoLTE, VoWiFi, Wi-Fi, and 5G. The laboratory is located in rooms protected from external electromagnetic interference and has all functional units: a radio access network (base stations), a core, and a transport segment for accessing the Internet. The created conditions allow configuring the equipment provided by developers and checking the subscriber device's support for various services on the operator's network.
KVADRA_T, manufactured at Russia's largest full-cycle plant, Yadro Fab Dubna, was tested there according to an extensive program consisting of 250 test cases.
These include calls, data transfer, sending SMS, switching between 2G/3G/4G networks. During the tests, the process of information exchange between the device and the network was tested, various user scenarios were worked out, the correctness of the "chipset-antenna" calibration was checked, data transfer speed tests were performed, and equipment indication was configured. The KVADRA_T tablet confirmed the reliability and efficient functioning of all technical components of the system, ensuring uninterrupted communication.
The tablet runs under its own mobile operating system kvadraOS, which is compatible with a wide range of programs and devices. The algorithms of kvadraOS allow interacting with modern communication networks and meeting the needs of users who expect high quality communication and data transfer speeds from the device.
Thus, the tablet confirmed the stated characteristics of a universal device for the city, home, work, and travel.
To do this, we integrated a communication module with 4G support into the tablet and are now developing a service that will help quickly and easily find connected KVADRA devices in case they are lost. We are satisfied with the cooperation with MegaFon, the speed of analysis, the qualifications of the specialists, and the results of the interaction. We tested the tablet in conditions as close as possible to real ones, and we were able to confirm its effectiveness in all usage scenarios. This is also an important stage in the development of our mobile OS, which demonstrates our capabilities and the maturity of the system.
Before the tablet, the Russian technology company Yadro already had an all-in-one, a laptop, and a PC. Earlier it became known that in 2024 the company may present its own smartphone on a RISC-V processor.
