KamAZ has reminded about a way to verify the authenticity of spare parts and components manufactured by the OAT Group (part of the KamAZ structure). This includes ten factories that produce over 4,000 product items: from braking systems and suspensions to radiators and lighting equipment. Their main customers are AvtoVAZ, KamAZ, GAZ, and UAZ.
The authenticity verification service has been operating online since 2015 and is accessible from any computer, laptop, or mobile phone on the official website of the OAT Group. It is linked to the identification sticker on the part and its original code.
The identification sticker with additional security features is made in the original design of the OAT Group and has two layers: the top layer is branded, and the bottom layer contains instructions for verification and a unique code.
The security sticker is located on the flap of the OAT Group's branded packaging. By erasing the strip on it, you can see a 12-digit verification code. The authenticity of the code can be checked on the official website of the OAT Group. If a fake is detected, the auto parts manufacturers ask to be immediately informed about the place and time of purchase of the counterfeit. Buyers are also asked to check the authenticity of the product before purchase.
Also, the GC website has a hotline number where you can check the authenticity of the part by its verification code, and a number to which you can send this code in an SMS message.
The OAT Group is considered the largest Russian association of auto component manufacturers. It includes:
- ООО «DAAZ» - in Dimitrovgrad produces radiators, fuel systems, cooling systems, stamped-welded assemblies, aluminum casting, tooling and instruments, and in the Serdobsk branch - only stamped-welded assemblies;

- ООО «Avtosvet» and PAO «OSVAR» - produce lighting equipment;
- ООО «RusAvtoPlast» - produces plastic granulate;
- АО «Motor-Super» - is engaged in filters and plastic parts;
- АО «VAZINTERSERVICE» and ООО «EVR» - provide automakers and car owners with suspensions and braking systems;
- ООО «SAAZ Komplekt» - assembles struts, shock absorbers, gas struts, rods.
