New Russian military drone with catapult undergoes field tests

"Bird" can conduct reconnaissance and overload the enemy's air defense system

It became known about field tests of a new Russian unmanned aerial vehicle capable of penetrating deeply into the rear of a potential enemy.

It is known that it can not only hit targets, but also conduct reconnaissance, and overload the enemy's air defense system.

Little is known about the novelty. Its technical specifications are not yet announced. As well as the official name, and developers' design bureau.

We only have test footage. They show that the drone looks like a bird: it has double X-shaped “bird” plumage, which confuses radars. It copes well with strong wind.

The drone is conditionally nicknamed "Bird", and it awaits small-scale production after testing.
