The Russian concern "KamAZ" presented a new version of the KamAZ-6250 bus at the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum. This is a mobile workshop for working at oil and gas facilities.
The bus has sleeping places for four people. At the rear of the KamAZ-6250 there are tool cabinets and a kitchen. It has everything for a comfortable stay: burners, a sink, a cabinet for dishes and cutlery.
It is known that the bus received an in-line engine with a capacity of 279 horsepower, which comes with an automatic transmission (automatic transmission). Given the configuration, the KamAZ-6250 can also be used as a motorhome.
As specified on the manufacturer's website, KamAZ-6250 can be equipped with various versions of internal combustion engines – diesel, LNG or CNG.
It was previously reported that KamAZ is interested in hydrogen technologies. By 2025, the company plans to launch the production of tractors with hydrogen power plants.
