"Flagrant Weakness": 19fortyfive Analyst Explains Why the Russian Fleet is Inferior to the Chinese and American Fleets

According to the World Directory of Warships and Submarines, the Chinese fleet has 405 ships. The United States has 11 aircraft carriers and 296 warships.

Russia ranks third with 283 fleet units. It has only one aircraft carrier, "Admiral Nakhimov", which has survived more than one breakdown and is still under repair. However, the strength of the Russian Navy is its submarine fleet.

Indonesia follows Russia, with 245 warships at its disposal. South Korea has 182 ships.

The Chinese and American fleets are certainly the best. Russia has powerful submarines, but the lack of an operational aircraft carrier is a flagrant weakness.
