Russian Armed Forces personnel have modified the combat vehicle (BM-21) of the Grad multiple launch rocket system (MLRS), protecting it from enemy drones. This is reported by the Defence Blog portal.
The BM-21 has received additional protection for the crew cabin, a metal mesh over the missile launchers, and an electronic warfare (EW) system.
Russian military personnel are adapting obsolete Soviet military equipment to current combat operations. They are striving to increase the survivability of weapons in the face of increased drone attacks.

The multiple launch rocket system is designed to engage manpower, unarmored vehicles and armored personnel carriers, artillery and mortar batteries, and command posts.
