The ODK-Aviadvigatel bureau, which is developing the PD-35 engine, has designed more than 160 parts and assembly units using the Russian KOMPAS-3D program. The fifth stage of the project to implement domestic software has been completed, the ODK press service reported.
In parallel, the corporation completed the implementation of a production and supply chain management system developed by NPC "1C". It is already operating in the ODK corporate center and at the ODK-Salut, ODK-STAR, and ODK-Saturn enterprises.
The system integrates all processes — from procurement to shipment — into a single information space and allows real-time tracking of the engine creation chain.
In the future, we plan to expand the functionality of these systems by applying artificial intelligence technologies.
ODK noted that the PD-35 has already received more than 2,300 parts manufactured using additive technologies.
Aviation expert Roman Gusarov explained that the PD-35 will be the pinnacle of domestic technologies, but its development is more complex than launching a space rocket.
