The "Falkatus" is built on a special chassis related to KamAZ developments for rally trucks. The vehicle version is equipped with a 17.2-liter turbodiesel engine from the Tutayevsky Motor Plant with a power of 830 horsepower and a 12-speed robotic gearbox. According to open sources, during tests, the armored vehicle reached speeds of up to 200 kilometers per hour.

The wedge-shaped body and armored capsule are design features dictated by the tasks of special forces units. The protection class and resistance to damaging factors are confirmed by test results.

Lisa Rulit became the first woman to get behind the wheel of the "Falkatus" hypertruck.
