In Belarus, the modernized 9M113 anti-tank guided missile (ATGM), which is part of the 9K113 Konkurs anti-tank missile system (ATGM), has been successfully tested. This was reported by the press service of the State Military Industrial Committee of the republic.
What has changed in the 9M113 ATGM:
- replaced standard electronic units with modern ones
- installed a laser receiver instead of a wired coil
- increased the missile's range of application
- improved the accuracy of the control loop
Combat launches confirmed stable ATGM controllability throughout the flight at a range of at least 5000 meters and high guidance accuracy.
The modernization of the missile is carried out by specialists from the Belarusian company Kidma Tek. The 9M113 ATGM is designed for mobile and stationary armored targets. Firing is carried out from the 9P148 combat vehicle with an external launcher 9P135M (also suitable for 9M111 Fagot missiles) of the Konkurs complex.
