In September, Russian Lada dealers sold 32,310 new passenger and light commercial vehicles. For AvtoVAZ, this is the best monthly result since the beginning of 2026 — sales were 10.6% higher than in August and 9.4% higher than in September last year. Details were disclosed by the AvtoVAZ press service.
Granta became the main Lada model again. Buyers took 11,798 such cars in a month — 5.4% more than in August. Vesta had the second result — 5,530 cars.
But Niva Legend sales grew most significantly in a month. In September, dealers sold 4,148 such vehicles, which is immediately 79.3% more than the August result. Niva Travel also significantly increased — to 3,832 cars, or 25.8% in a month.
Lada Iskra also showed new dynamics. Its sales amounted to 3,711 cars — 12.7% more than in August. In September, 2,428 passenger Largus and 585 vans of this model were also sold.
However, for the entire period from January to September, the picture looks much calmer. In nine months, AvtoVAZ sold 244,626 Lada cars in Russia — only 0.4% more than in the same period of 2025.
