An exhibition opened in Minsk at the MTZ Palace of Culture for Machine Builder's Day, where the plant showcased the modern BELARUS 5425 with 542 hp and the legendary MTZ-2 – the first mass-produced Soviet wheeled universal row-crop tractor on pneumatic tires.
The fuel tank volume of the BELARUS 5425 is 900 liters. This allows the machine to operate for 10 hours without refueling. The maximum speed is 40 km/h. The cabin features climate control, and controls are concentrated on the right armrest: buttons and joysticks without mechanical linkages.
The MTZ-2 became the first mass-produced Soviet wheeled tractor on pneumatic tires.
The exhibition also features equipment from MAZ, AMKODOR, Minsk Motor Plant, BELDJI, Belkommunmash, and Bobruiskagromash.
