Aeromax and Novatech agrodrones treated over 3,000 hectares of fields in Kaliningrad Oblast

The region fulfilled its plan for using drones in agriculture

One of the largest dairy producers in Kaliningrad Oblast – the Zalesye agricultural holding and its company Zaleskoye Moloko – joined the project on using agrodrones. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Agriculture.

Aeromax and Novatech drones carried out spraying and application of plant protection products on more than 3,000 hectares in eight districts: Gusevsky, Nesterovsky, Chernyakhovsky, Krasnoznamensky, Ozyorsky, Gvardeysky, Polessky, and Slavsky. Targeted application of preparations preserves crops and reduces chemical consumption. Drones fly at a height of up to five meters, do not damage plants, and do not compact the soil, and can even work after rain when a tractor is ineffective.

According to the regional Minister of Agriculture Artem Ivanov, the agrodrones market has formed, and the demand for systemic use of the technology is growing – this allowed the Russian Ministry of Agriculture to meet its planned targets.

Approximately 102,000 hectares of crops have already been surveyed in the region, with the DolgovGrupp holding being the leader with 65,000 hectares surveyed and 10,000 hectares treated. The "Yantarny Drone" program is expanding the use of drones in other sectors of the economy as well.
