Kazan JSC "Tupolev" did not receive new and reconstructed aircraft parking spaces in Kazan on time. The contract value with the Ufa company "Zhilstroy" amounted to 570.4 million rubles.
The agreement was concluded in November 2024. The contractor promised to complete design and survey work and construction and installation work by the end of 2025.
However, by the set deadline, even the first stage was not completed — a full set of design and estimate documentation was missing, and subsequent work was also not performed.
In December 2025, "Tupolev" unilaterally terminated the contract and appealed to the FAS. As a result, the developer was left without infrastructure, and the contractor went bankrupt in August 2026.
"Tupolev" is the manufacturer of Tu-160 "White Swan" strategic missile carriers, a key enterprise of the OAK strategic aviation division.
