X-band Rebus radar for detecting small drones being developed in Belarus

The range of the system from KB "Radar" is 5000 meters

Specialists from KB "Radar" are developing a small-sized X-band radar station (RLS) "Rebus" for close-range detection of small aerial objects. The radar will be able to detect drones flying in radio silence mode (without transmitting a radio signal), the press service of the State Military Industrial Committee of Belarus reported.

The detection range for small drones reaches 5000 m.

A feature of the prospective radar is the use of continuous emission mode, as well as antenna design elements that ensure effective operation against UAVs in dense urban areas.

The compact design of the station allows it to be used as part of various platforms. In the future, the Rebus radar may become part of comprehensive solutions for protecting critical infrastructure facilities from various types of drones.

Previously, a radar with the same name was developed by specialists from the Russian NPO "Kilowatt".
