The newest high-speed drone-missile "Dan-T" can be launched from both fighters and helicopters. This was announced by Bekkhan Ozdoev, Industrial Director of Rostec.
According to him, foreign customers paid attention specifically to this option of the missile.
"Dan-T" can be adapted for various aviation carriers – be it a helicopter or an aircraft – and also for foreign aircraft.
It is known that currently Su-34, Su-35S, and Su-57 can work with these missiles. "Voennaya Khronika" noted that "Dan-T" can also be used with Mi-8 and Mi-17 helicopters, as their suspension allows for such weaponry.
The Mi-8/17 is the most common type of helicopter in Russian army aviation. According to an assessment by the international analytical institute IISS, there are at least 700-800 of them in service.
Recall that, according to open sources, "Dan-T" is a hybrid of a jet kamikaze drone and a simplified cruise missile, capable of flying up to 500 km.
