Robots are working, Moscow enterprises are renting

50 Moscow companies were offered to rent or lease industrial robotics for a period of three years or more

Participants of the federal project "Labor Productivity" in Moscow will be able to robotize production without purchasing equipment – service and collaborative robots will be provided for rent or lease for a period of 36 months or more. At the pilot stage, 50 companies will take advantage of this measure.

The mechanism was developed by the Moscow Department of Economic Policy and Development together with Moscow suppliers and integrators of robotic systems. Experts from ANO "Mosstrategiya" will conduct a free diagnosis at the enterprise, select a solution for specific tasks, calculate the economic effect and payback, and provide contacts of suppliers. Manufacturers offer a minimal initial payment and phased payments.

Renting reduces initial robotization costs by 70% and allows evaluating the effect before purchase: robotization on established processes provides a productivity increase of 20–40%.

The greatest effect is expected in areas with monotonous manual labor and cyclical operations – in warehouse logistics (palletizing, sorting, packaging, packing, cargo movement), industry, and construction.

The first participants in the pilot will be enterprises in the manufacturing industry, construction sector, transportation, and storage, then the measure will be scaled to all organizations in Moscow.
