According to the source, Russia's S-500 proposal looks impressive "on paper." But the Indian Air Force wants to wait until "Prometey" is operated in a stable production mode.

India has not completely rejected the Russian proposal but has asked Russia to demonstrate the system's capabilities first.

Military expert Oleg Glazunov stated that with the development of "Prometey," Russia is 50 years ahead of the USA in the development of air defense systems.
