The new "Dan-T" munition received two solutions at once, which should make its detection and engagement difficult: a special body shape to reduce radar signature and a flight altitude of about 9 km. Military expert Yury Knutov believes that the second parameter effectively takes the munition out of the reach of anti-aircraft artillery.

Developers have not yet disclosed the full set of "Dan-T" characteristics, but the presented data indicates that the device is designed for a range of about 450–500 km and a speed of up to 750 km/h.
The jet engine allows it to move significantly faster than most conventional loitering munitions, and the high trajectory further complicates combating it with short-range assets.
In terms of application, "Dan-T" occupies an intermediate position between a cruise missile and a drone. The munition operates on a pre-reconnoitered target, and the route is built using digital maps, allowing it to independently follow a given object after launch.
The munition was first publicly shown in Egypt at the El Alamein International Airshow held in September. Rostec presented "Dan-T" as a new development combining features of a cruise missile and a drone.
