Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs advises against installing banking apps on children's smartphones

A card linked to an adult's account is sufficient for a child

The cyber police note that all transactions can be tracked through a banking application on a parent's phone. For monitoring a child's location, specialists recommend a separate application – it is installed either on the child's or the parent's device, and there are also those that work in pairs. Upon installation, the child gives permission for their geolocation, and the parent sees it.

A card linked to an adult's account provides access to spending history without a separate banking application for the child. Applications that work in pairs address the second task – movement control. Both measures do not require installing banking software on a child's smartphone.
