RKK "Energia" specialists must confirm that the experiment is feasible on board, after which the economic component will be assessed. IKI RAN plans to continue research on the atmosphere, near-Earth space, and radiation, as well as Earth observation from space. The program for the station, which will embark on an independent flight after 2030, is being formed even before its creation is complete.

In 2028, the Russian segment of the ISS will be vacated by the "Prichal" nodal module. A new universal nodal module for ROS will be installed in its place. Subsequently, a scientific and power module will be sent into orbit. In 2030, the two new modules and the "Nauka" laboratory module will undock from the ISS and begin independent flight. The completion of the national station's formation is planned for 2034.
