The Russian Ministry of Transport plans to allow the use of the Max messenger for passenger boarding on planes and trains. This was announced by the head of the department, Andrey Nikitin. This is currently a promising direction, and the project's launch date has yet to be approved.
Boarding trains using biometrics is already possible. In April 2026, the function first became available on three routes from Moscow:
- from Yaroslavsky railway station – to Kostroma;
- from Kursky and Vostochny railway stations – to Ivanovo;
- from Vostochny railway station – to Nizhny Novgorod.
In August 2026, a similar option appeared on the Nizhny Novgorod – Kirov and Nizhny Novgorod – Ivanovo routes.
And in June 2026, as part of an experiment, biometric boarding for planes became available at Sheremetyevo and Pulkovo airports.
