Russia will send the last S-400 complex under the 2018 contract to India in November 2026, which will be deployed in the eastern part of the republic. This was reported by sources of Hindustan Times.
In parallel, the Russian side has sent India a new estimate for an additional five S-400 complexes, which allows negotiations on the price to begin.
Hindustan Times claims that the final decision on the purchase will be made by India's Cabinet Committee on Security after agreeing on the cost with Russia and receiving approval from the Indian Ministry of Finance.
Recall that S-400 deliveries to India began in 2021. The first three systems were deployed on the borders with China and Pakistan.
Earlier, Indian media explained why the "Triumf" will not be able to become a full-fledged ground-based strike missile system.
