Reftinskaya GRES will receive new turbines for three power units at once – No. 1, No. 4, and No. 2. The entire program is scheduled for completion by the end of 2029.

Power unit No. 1 is being updated first. The old turbine has already been dismantled, and the site is now being prepared for the installation of a new turbine unit. It is expected to be delivered in September 2026. Work on this unit is planned to be completed by the end of 2027.

Power unit No. 4 will be next. A project of comparable scale is planned here, with completion expected by the end of 2028. The Ural Turbine Plant is scheduled to supply the turbine for this unit in 2028.

The most extensive reconstruction awaits power unit No. 2. Its turbine and most of the boiler equipment will be replaced, and a new bag filter will be installed. Work is scheduled for completion by the end of 2029.

In total, the plant will receive three new turbines: two will be manufactured by Silovye Mashiny, and one by Ural Turbine Plant. The delivery of these units will be one of the key stages of the project.

Reftinskaya GRES consists of ten power units, nine of which have already exhausted their service life. Therefore, the replacement of turbines is a central part of the current plant modernization program.
