Students will have the opportunity to undertake internships at the company and at the Rybinsk enterprise ODK-Gas Turbines, participate in applied projects, and get acquainted with real production tasks during their studies.

For ODK Engineering, this is especially important in the context of developing the domestic line of industrial gas turbine engines. The company is involved in equipment for energy and gas transportation, including AL series engines. One of the most promising projects is the AL-41ST-25 industrial gas turbine engine with a capacity of 25 MW.

The AL-41ST-25 was created for the gas transportation industry, and two prototypes are currently undergoing pilot industrial operation at the Arskaya compressor station in Tatarstan. Based on this gas generator, ODK is working on creating new power modifications. Potentially, the line could reach a capacity of up to 42 MW.

The engine itself features modern technical solutions, including a unified high-pressure compressor, single-crystal blades, new-generation heat-resistant materials, and elements of additive technologies. The AL-41ST-25 boasts a declared power of 25 MW, high efficiency, and potential for further design development.

ODK Engineering expects to use cooperation with the university not only for personnel training. The company and RGATU intend to conduct applied research and launch pilot projects in the field of equipment for the fuel and energy complex. Special attention is planned to be given to distributed energy.
