Yandex has decided to consolidate bloggers' earnings in one place. The new service "ProBlogger" combines channel monetization across six platforms – Telegram, Max, VK, RuTube, YouTube, and Zen. Instead of separate tools, authors get a single dashboard with advertising, partner offers, and analytics.
There are two ways to earn money. The first is to automatically place ads and get paid for views and clicks. The second is to manually add affiliate links to publications and receive a reward if a subscriber makes a purchase or performs another target action.
However, it's not necessary to turn your channel into an endless ad feed. The author can leave ad selection to the algorithm or independently choose brands and products from the catalog – there are filters by categories, stores, cost, and potential earnings. If there is no suitable offer, it is enough to insert a link to the product, and the system will try to find a similar option.
We have been working in the channel and blog monetization market for three years, and during this time, we have paid authors over 6 billion rubles.
Channels and blogs with an audience of 1,000 subscribers or more will be able to connect to advertising monetization. ProBlogger itself is free and available both in a web version and a mobile application. Currently, the Yandex Advertising Network (RSYa) already has more than 25,000 channels and blogs.
The service is not going to stop at just advertising. In the future, they plan to add tools for content creation and promotion. That is, ProBlogger should gradually transform from a simple monetization system into a full-fledged author's workspace – from publication to earnings.
