Footage of the new high-explosive fragmentation warhead of the "Geran-4" jet drone was shown on social media. The photos were published by analysts from "Voennaya Khronika" (Military Chronicle).
The photo shows that the warhead is equipped with steel or tungsten balls about 10 mm in diameter, tightly packed inside the warhead body to create a continuous field of fragments.
Such a matrix arrangement of ready-made damaging elements guarantees a controlled and maximally dense fragmentation field in all directions when the main charge detonates.
A few days ago, it became known that "Geran-4" received new Telefly LX-WP-160 and Telefly TF-TJ2000A engines.
The drone was built according to a new aerodynamic design with a reinforced structure. The wings are no longer detached from the center section, and the number of technological hatches on the body has been reduced to decrease air resistance.
