The fiber-optic FPV drone "Knyaz Vandal Novgorodsky" (KVN) showed a very favorable ratio of costs to results. The figures were announced by Alexey Chadayev, CEO of SPC "Ushkuynik".
He clarified that the calculation included costs starting from R&D, and the result was estimated by the cost of destroyed equipment.
For KVN, it is a 1:40 ratio – 40 rubles of result for every ruble of cost.
Recall that "Knyaz Vandal Novgorodsky" uses a fiber-optic communication channel, so its control does not depend on the operation of electronic warfare systems.
Representatives of SPC "Ushkuynik" noted that they are switching to entirely self-developed electronics. Even the onboard camera will be Russian.
Alexey Chadayev, CEO of "Ushkuynik", stated that "Knyaz Vandal" was first used as an "ambush waiter".
