The deployment of the low-orbit satellite communication system "Rassvet", which is called the Russian analogue of Starlink, will expand the capabilities of ground robotic systems (NRTK). This was stated by the head of the NRTK crew with the call sign Borzy.
In his opinion, "Rassvet" will be more effective than the American Starlink.
Our NRTKs will travel further, control will be better stabilized, and they will be less dependent on the operator.
Thanks to "Rassvet", enemy electronic warfare (EW) systems will not be able to jam the signal. NRTKs will overcome these zones without much risk, the serviceman concluded.
The deployment of the satellite constellation began in March 2026. "Bureau 1440" sent 16 spacecraft. In July, another batch of satellites was launched into orbit. The system will enable the military to transmit data via a secure channel and unite tanks, artillery, and infantry into a single network.
