Since the beginning of 2026, 71 new car models have entered the Russian market. Moreover, 22 of them are produced directly in the Russian Federation, RIA "Novosti" calculated based on data from automotive statistical resources.
In total, among the new products are 44 passenger cars, 10 light commercial vehicles (LCV), 10 trucks and seven buses. Among the models of Russian production were electric vehicles "Atom" and UMO 5, cars Volga K50, K40 and C50, as well as new models "Moskvich", Jeland, Tenet and commercial vehicles of AvtoVAZ.
The commercial line of Russian production was supplemented by AvtoVAZ models SKM M7 and M9. In addition, in 2026, new Moskvich M70 and M90 crossovers began to be registered for the first time.
Four more new products were released by "AGR Holding": Jeland J8 and J7 crossovers, as well as Tenet T9 and T4L. All these cars are among the 22 models whose production is carried out within the country.
Most new models appeared on the register in February - then 15 new car models were registered. The least - in May and June: in each of these months, the Russian car fleet was replenished with cars of five new models. Since the beginning of the year, 22 new models of domestic production have appeared on the Russian market - from electric vehicles and passenger cars to crossovers and commercial vehicles.
