"Sinara-Development" (part of the "Sinara" group) has completed the reconstruction of the in-plant railway infrastructure at the "Uralskiye Lokomotivy" plant in Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Sverdlovsk Oblast, the general contractor's press service reported. Five kilometers of new tracks have been laid, which are integrated into the overall traffic scheme and connect existing and under-construction buildings. This will ensure reliable transport communication throughout the site and uninterrupted production of finished products.
The company's CEO, Timur Ufimtsev, noted that the completion of the track reconstruction is a key stage for synchronizing construction and commissioning works. The new infrastructure already allows for the development of logistics schemes necessary for the efficient operation of production lines. According to him, work is proceeding strictly on schedule, with established deadlines being met for each building, and the facilities will be commissioned by the end of 2026.
The construction of five new buildings with a total area of 67 thousand square meters continues. In the body component forming building, the installation of the fire extinguishing system is being completed, and in the traction drive test center, commissioning of technological equipment is underway. In the administrative building, engineering communications and a ventilated facade are being installed, and in the design center, stained-glass structures are being assembled and a ventilation system is being laid. Extensive landscaping is being carried out on the adjacent territory of 61 thousand square meters.
