Slavic Princes Attack: Ushkuynik's KVN Drone Becomes 2.5 Times More Effective in Striking Enemy Targets

The fiber-optic FPV drone is assisted by the "Knyaz Veshchy Oleg" reconnaissance drone

The use of "Knyaz Vandal Novgorodsky" (KVN) in tandem with the "Knyaz Veshchy Oleg" reconnaissance drone has helped increase the effectiveness of the fiber-optic FPV drone by 2.5 times. This was stated by Alexey Chadayev, CEO of the Ushkuynik Research and Production Center.

"Knyaz Veshchy Oleg" operates on radio control with good communication, and is the cheapest in its class. This drone has already become popular among Russian drone operators and is widely used.

The reconnaissance drone informs the operator of the strike drone where to fly. Thanks to this data, KVN becomes more effective than during "free hunting" (independent patrolling of a given square without guidance), Chadayev explained.

According to the CEO of Ushkuynik, Russian Armed Forces personnel also use the latest loitering munition "Knyaz Vladimir Svyatoslavovich". Its flight range (50 km) allows the strike drone to be used to hit enemy supply vehicles.

It is too early to talk about the statistics of these applications.

Information about the developments of the Ushkuynik Research and Production Center appeared in 2024. The Russian Armed Forces first tested "Knyaz Vandal Novgorodsky" in the autumn of 2024. The FPV drone was nicknamed "Zhdun" for its ability to be used for ambushes.
