Aurus Considers Releasing Updated Komendant Crossover in 2028

Aurus has not ruled out updating the Komendant crossover in 2028, Autonews reports, citing two sources familiar with the situation. The brand's press service confirmed that such a scenario is indeed being worked on, but currently, the main efforts are focused on preparing for the serial production of the restyled Senat sedan.

The Komendant is equipped with a hybrid powertrain based on a 4.4-liter V8 with two turbochargers producing 598 hp. A nine-speed automatic transmission distributes traction to both axles. The interior is trimmed with natural leather, wood, and metal, the seats have memory, ventilation, and massage functions, and tables and a mini-bar are provided for second-row passengers.

The brand's model line includes the Senat sedan, its extended Long version, and the Komendant crossover. Company representatives added that the timing and plans for launching new projects will be announced additionally, and at this stage, the information is confidential. Restyling the Komendant after the Senat will allow the brand to update the flagship SUV and maintain its competitiveness.
