Foreign Analysts Report New Large Version of "Gerbera" UAV

The increase in airframe size was linked to the possible installation of a more powerful engine or warhead

Foreign analysts have reported the use of a new, enlarged version of the "Gerbera" UAV, which significantly surpasses the basic modification in size.

Initially, the "Gerbera" was created as a relatively simple and inexpensive drone. Its foam and lightweight material body allowed for reduced production costs, and the aircraft itself was more often used as a decoy to distract air defense systems or was equipped with a limited set of reconnaissance equipment.

According to published information, the enlarged airframe allows for the installation of a more powerful internal combustion engine. The freed internal volume also makes it possible to accommodate a warhead weighing up to 50 kg or to increase the fuel supply to extend flight duration.

Official confirmation of the new version's characteristics has not yet been published. However, analysts note that the increase in platform size allows it to be used in a wider range of tasks compared to the original modification.
