Every second new passenger car purchased in Russia in the first half of 2026 is all-wheel drive. The share reached a record 42.8%. And the most popular SUVs once again became the domestic "Nivas".
First place was taken by Lada Niva Travel – from January to June, Russians bought 21,431 units. Second place also went to an AvtoVAZ model, the classic Niva Legend, with a result of 16,083 cars.
The best among foreign cars was the all-wheel drive Haval Jolion – 14,350 cars in six months. And last year's leader, Geely Monjaro, dropped to fourth place: 13,818 cars sold. Tenet T7 closed the top five with a result of 13,627.
Next come Voyah Free (6180), Haval F7 (5876), Toyota RAV4 (5609), Toyota Highlander (5436), and Tenet T8 (5325).
