The Sverdlovsk Regional Court has decided to resume the investigation of the criminal case against the former head of the Corporation for the Development of the Middle Urals (KRSU), Andrey Misyura. According to RBC, the case involves three articles of the Criminal Code – abuse of power, exceeding authority, and negligence. The episodes under investigation occurred during Misyura's tenure as general director of NPO Avtomatiki named after Academician Semikhatov (part of Roscosmos).
The investigation had already begun, but in February 2025, the court of first instance terminated it due to the absence of corpus delicti. As the investigator noted at the Sverdlovsk Regional Court session, the actions of the defendants were lawful and justified. The prosecution insisted on reopening the case.
Misyura headed NPO Avtomatiki from 2016 to the end of 2022. Later, from early 2023 to February 2026, he led the Corporation for the Development of the Middle Urals. It was in his position as head of KRSU that he announced the construction of the Ural microchip factory "Karat" in Yekaterinburg. It was planned that the plant, with a capacity of up to 2 thousand wafers per year, would be launched by the end of 2026, but the deadlines were shifted to 2027. Misyura cited the unpreparedness of the industrial partner – the Ural Design and Engineering Bureau "Detal" – as the reason for the delay.
After his dismissal from KRSU in February 2026, Misyura found employment in Moscow. In April 2026, he was appointed first vice-president of the company "Kompozit", which is part of Roscosmos.
